Taking care of a child’s mental health

This October, for Children’s Day weekend & World Mental Health Month, award-winning creators Emily Lim-Leh and Josef Lee have produced a FREE e-book to raise awareness of children struggling with traumatic stress. 👦🏻👧🏻  This e-book resource is produced as a voluntary community initiative in support of Epworth Community Services’ work in early intervention and support services in trauma-informed care.  You can download the FREE e-book from author Emily Lim-Leh’s blogsite. Please help to share this link widely with your families and friends caring for and working with children 12 and below ☺️This fictional picture book is written to depict the possible responses of a child grappling with a distressing situation. Children might express their struggles in different ways. We also wish to raise awareness that early detection and timely intervention can help children to cope better with distressing and traumatic events in their lives. Such support can improve their physical, emotional, cognitive and mental well-being.
