Do myopia control glasses work better than normal glasses?

There are different brands with varying technology. When we see your child, we would advise on the one best suited depending on his /her lifestyle factors. The research is strong that children with myopia shoudl not wearing normal or what is called single vision glasses. But they should be on myopia control glasses. Myopia control glasses alone do not control myopia well enough. For maximum effect, atropine eye drops must be used at the same time.

From our clinical experience, we find that these glasses do not work adequately without atropine and change of lifestyle habits.
