Covid and children’s eye health

Dr. Oliver Woo is an outstanding Australian optometrist who shares the same passion as I do for myopia control. I was the moderator for this session -Practice transformation and patient communication session at the Asia-Pacific myopia management symposium.

Dr. Woo shares how his practice has transformed during the pandemic year 2020. We discuss how to communicate and resolve the concerns of parents about their children getting myopic. Covid has also led to a myopia boom around the world because of poor eye habits with more online device time. It is crucial these few years, more than any other to provide optimal myopia management options to our patients.
