Is it Conjunctivitis? What’s a Pink Eye?

I have a tearing , red eye with itch

Conjunctivitis is inflammation of the white membrane on the outside of the white of your eye. The cause can be an infection or allergies. The eyes are red, and swollen (inflamed), and sometimes they have a sticky discharge. You can have conjunctivitis in one or both eyes. Some types of pink eye are very contagious (easily spread from person to person). Bacterial and viral conjunctivitis are easily spread from person to person. Allergic conjunctivitis is not contagious.

Other than the usual eye drops, we have a way to treat conjunctivitis that gets rid of the inflammation and swelling much quicker.
