I have been suffering from dry eyes for almost 5 yrs. The dryness caused my eyes to be very prone to infection and several visits to the A&E in the middle of the night as my eyes will suddenly have sharp jabbing pains in the middle of the night and turn red and infected. The eye specialist at SNEC said there was nothing i could do even when i asked about supplements and all. So i suffered fr frequent infections and had to use antibiotic eye drops. Never went back to SNEC as the doctors already told me there was nothing i could do. I am so lucky to have found Dr Lee via google! Her clinic is very comprehensive! For my first visit, I had a eyesight test, glaucoma nerve check (passed via genetics so i checked), followed by a consult w Dr Lee who very quickly pinpoint the issues. Then I had a tear level test, light therapy treatment (IPL and a light mask, followed by expression of oil glands), supplements and an eye drop to control my infection at that time. Everything was done within 2 hrs! After my first light therapy, i could feel my eyes were actually wet! I am so grateful to her and her clinic and the therapist who provides the treatment. Finally dry eye sufferers have some relief, whereas at SNEC, they simply dismiss it as a small issue. It might sound like a mild thing, but having dry eyes is no joke. 24/7 discomfort. After suffering from dry eyes for far too long and without improvement with eye drops, I attended the Eye Clinic by Dr Cheryl for assessment. The treatment Dr Cheryl suggested has worked wonders. No more dry eyes and no more strained eyes. The treatment is painless and relaxing. My only regret is that I waited so long to see the professional and personable Dr Cheryl and her amazing staff.
