I take 3 minutes for one ICL and I make only one wound of 2mm.Because the wound is so much smaller than in Laser refractive surgery, that is why is way less painful after surgery. My patients have no patch and just a pair of sunglasses and are independently eating lunch and texting after surgery.
My patients will tell you I chat with you through the procedure and it is over before you know it. But if you are the ultimate scare-dy cat, you can have the ICL under sedation so you are asleep during the procedure.
